Auto One NZ Ltd welcomes new Directorship

Auto One New Zealand Ltd begins 2010 with a new Chairman and two new Directors. Run as a cooperative style franchise, Auto One’s store owners are also shareholders of the parent company. From the pool of shareholder’s five directors represent the stores at strategic level.

Auto One wish to farewell valued Director Geoff Glover and Chairman John Patton who both have resigned to pursue further interests.

Justin Phillips and Pat Rumble join existing Directors Steven Forbes and Ken Inder. Malcolm Bell takes on the Chairman role of Auto One New Zealand.
Auto One Morrinsville, under owner Malcolm Bell, is consistently amongst Auto One’s top performers and Malcolm has lead the Morrinsville store to win the Waikato Times People’s Choice award for the best automotive parts store in the Waikato. Malcolm brings many skills to his new Chairman role, and has just finished implementing a new accounts system enabling better reporting tools for the Group.

Bay of Islands Auto One, under the leadership of Justin Phillips, took home the 2009 Overall Store of the Year Award. Justin’s previous experience at Directorship level will be of great value to the group going forward this year.

Ken Inder has over 41 years automotive parts industry experience and 27 years as an owner operator of Auto One Dargaville. Ken is eager to increase membership to the Auto One Group and is the right person to talk to about the benefits of belonging to Auto One.

Sales and Marketing Manager, for the successful group of companies operating under the Suvic umbrella in Napier is Pat Rumble. Pat is an ideas man and is already driving the growth and direction of Auto One.

Steven Forbes has been involved with Auto One for 10 years, undertaking initial training with Geoff Glover. Having been a mechanic with Ford for 22 years, Steven has a passion for Motorsport and Auto One Matamata is known for their reliable workshop and well-established client base.

Auto One is delighted to welcome Malcolm, Justin and Pat to their new roles, and are looking forward to an exciting 2010 with a team who share the same passion and values.
